| POSTING
YOUR SCORES: 1. Post scores from home and away courses. 2. Post scored in all forms of play; match play, stroke play, even team competitions in which you are requested to pick up. 3. Post your score when you play at least 13 holes out of 18 holes or at least 7 out of 9 holes. On the holes you didn't play, record a par plus any handicap strokes you would have received. 4. Post a score if you play two nines even if it's the same nine, or nines from different days. Simply combine the nines into an 18 hole score. Add the nine-hole course rating and average the slope ratings. Check with your golf club to see if the 9 hole rounds are to be consecutive or non-consecutive. (In this case the BGF, your club, would prefer the 9 holes to be consecutive, i.e. front 9 today, back none tomorrow). 5. Post scores from all active season areas especially when you home club is in an "inactive" season. (This does not apply to us as it is always active season for the Bahamas). DON'T POST THESE SCORES 1. If you played fewer than 13 holes (Remember you still have an acceptable 9-hole score). 2. When you play in a competition limiting the types of clubs used, such as a one-club or irons-only tournament. 3. When an 18-hole course is less than 3,000 yards. 4. When a majority of the holes aren't played under the Rules of Golf, as in a "scramble." 5. Don't post "inactive season" scores. |
