The Bahamas Golf Federation is pleased to announce the ground breaking of our new Golf Academy. There will be a Driving Range and a 9-Hole Par 3 Golf Course.

The Ground Breaking ceremony was on 1st Feb 2007.

There are different committees dealing with different aspects of the project. Bruce LaFleur of Bruce LaFleur & Associates are the architects. Craig Flowers, Vice President BGF is the driving force behind getting the "Driving Range" ready for use summer of 2007- June/July when we begin our Golf Summer Camp. The Academy is situated in the Queen Elizabeth Sports Centre and the ground was actually the site of the former Blue Hills 9-Hole Golf Course. The Ladies Division is responsible for beautification.
